Video game developer Blizzard is announcing that the new Token feature for World of Warcraft is set to go live in the European region on Tuesday, April 21, at 5 PM Central European Standard Time.

From that point on, gamers will be able to get the new item in the store for the initial price of 20 Euro (24 dollars) and then sell it in the Auction House for 35,000 in-game Gold.

After an initial period, Blizzard will allow the value of the World of Warcraft Token to move freely based on the demand and offer from the community.

The studio adds, "To start we’ll be limiting the number of Token purchases from the Shop to 10 within a 30-day period, and the limit on Tokens purchased for gold will be set higher—though keep in mind these limits may be adjusted over time."

The Token has seen a quick drop in its value after it was launched in the United States.

Blizzard says that the new item is a good way of increasing player interest in World of Warcraft while making sure that the impact of the gold farmers decreases even more and that the MMO experience improves for all those involved.
