Blizzard has confirmed that it's once again recorded a decrease in terms of subscribers for World of Warcraft, as the online role-playing game now has 7.6 million players, a drop from 7.7 it had this summer.

World of Warcraft is still one of the most popular online role-playing games out there, even if in recent years more and more people decided to suspend their subscriptions.

While sharp declines were registered in the last year or so, it seems that the exodus has more or less ended, with just 100,000 players leaving WoW since this summer, meaning that right now there are 7.6 million active subscribers.

The number was made public by Activision as part of its financial earnings call, in which it confirmed that it's going to continue adding new content to the game so that it will have a "long and happy life."
