Video game developer Blizzard wants to better distribute gamers who are playing World of Warcraft between high and low demand servers, but the free transfer process is currently halted because of a series of bugs.

Gamers who are looking to move will eventually be able to switch between the following servers:

Area 52 to Turalyon Stormrage to Turalyon Tichondrius to Blackrock Illidan to Blackrock Bleeding Hollow to Korgath Darkspear to Korgath

Initially, the offer for World of Warcraft players was set to be open for just one week.

Soon after the scheme was launched, Blizzard found some issues with the process.

The studio writes in the official forums that, “We're continuing to investigate the cause, but don't have a current estimate for when the FCMs will be available. We'll provide an update and re-post the announcement on the front page of the site once they are, though.”

World of Warcraft continues to be the most successful subscription-based MMO in the world.
