World of Warcraft creators are known for including many references to movies, books or other games into their MMORPG and they couldn’t have missed Souls titles.

Fans of From Software’s games will probably recognize immediately one of the references from Dark Souls, which was included in World of Warcraft along with the Mists of Pandaria expansion.

The very long Achievement list in World of Warcraft contains a particular one that’s called “Praise the Sun!” It can only be done in a Pandarian raid by defeating Nalak, the Storm Lord, on the Isle of Thunder.

But that’s not the only achievement with reference to Souls game. The latest has been added with the Warlords of Draenor expansion and it’s called “Demon’s Soul”.

World of Warcraft players can get this particular achievement in Auchindoun on Heroic difficulty where they have to defeat Azzakel without killing any other demons during the encounter.

As with most of the achievements for World of Warcraft dungeons, Demon’s Souls can be easily done with enough DPS. So there you have it Souls fans, Blizzard recognizes the strong community behind the series and gives it a present (or more).

Have you, by any chance, spotted other Souls references in World of Warcraft? If yes, let us know in the comments section and we’ll make sure to update the article.
