Video game publisher Bethesda and Valve have announced that the upcoming Wolfenstein: The New Order is now offered for pre-load for all PC users on the Steam digital distribution service, which means that they can download all relevant game files in order to play the title as soon as it is launched tomorrow.

At the same time, those interested can still purchase the title in order to get access to the Doom beta later this year and to exclusive items that can be used in Team Fortress 2.

The two companies state, "Under development at Machine Games, a studio comprised of a seasoned group of developers recognized for their work creating story-driven games, Wolfenstein offers a deep game narrative packed with action, adventure and first-person combat."

Wolfenstein: The New Order uses the new Id tech 5 engine in order to create a complex set of mechanics and some cool cinematic moments as gamers try to defeat Nazi forces that have managed to win World War II and are now dominating the world.

The title is focused on the single-player experience and Machine Games promises that it is honoring the legacy of the classic series, while also introducing some innovation to the genre.
