Bethesda and MachineGames have confirmed the different PC specifications and the hard drive space requirements for Wolfenstein: The New Order on the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms.

Wolfenstein: The New Order promises to deliver an impressive first-person shooter experience while using the new id Tech 5 engine from id Software.

Now, Bethesda has revealed on its blog how powerful a PC needs to be in order to run the game and how much space consoles need to accommodate the title's files.

On the PC, the game needs quite a beefy processor and only works on 64-bit operating systems like Windows 7 or 8. The GPU should also be quite recent and there needs to be at least 50GB of free space.

On new consoles like the PS4 or Xbox One, the average install needs around 47GB, although you can make do with an 8GB one. Last-gen consoles, the PS3 and Xbox 360, also need at least 8GB of space, so be wary if you have a console without a hard drive.

PC System Requirements: OS: 64-bit Windows 7/Windows 8 CPU: Intel Core i7 or equivalent AMD RAM: 4 GB System RAM Space: 50 GB free HDD space GPU: GeForce 460, ATI Radeon HD 6850 High Speed Internet Connection Steam account and activation required
