The leader of the development team working on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt says that the game requires more than one playthrough because player choices have so much impact on the game world and the ending of Geralt’s story.

Marcin Iwinski, co-founder of CD Projekt, tells IGN that, “We don't tell you what matters and what doesn't, as your actions in the game speak far louder than words. I mean, there are 36 different endings in Wild Hunt.”

In the same interview, the developer said that even the team lost track of the exact ways that the game could end.

The title will finish the story of Geralt and will allow fans of the franchise to see how narrative threads established in previous games play out.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be out on the PC, the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 in the second quarter of this year.
