Square Enix, after releasing the critically acclaimed Chrono Trigger as well as a variety of older Final Fantasy titles, has revealed that a special campaign, called the Winter of RPGs" will run throughout November and December on the PlayStation Network, bringing three great games to PlayStation 3 owners.

Fans have begged Square Enix to re-release some of its older titles onto current generation platforms and the Japanese company has listened, as it's now getting ready to deploy not one but three great games as part of the Winter of RPGs campaign on the PSN.

First up, PS3 owners can enjoy Chrono Cross tomorrow, on November 8, the sequel to the already released Chrono Crusade.

On November 22, Final Fantasy V will be launched, allowing many gamers to spend some quality time with the classic RPG just in time for Thanksgiving.

Last but not least, on December 6, Square Enix is going to deploy Final Fantasy VI, which could mean that the oft-requested re-release of the critically acclaimed Final Fantasy VII might actually happen in the near future.
