Nintendo announces that it is releasing a 51-song strong downloadable content pack for its Wii Karaoke U, designed to introduce a number of new artists to those who are using the party-oriented title.

Wii Karaoke U is one of the games that Nintendo promotes as a good way for a family or a group of friends to enjoy the Wii U home console.

The most recent financial results coming from the company have shown that the device sold just 300,000 units during the first six months of the current fiscal year.
