Video game publisher Square Enix has released a video which shows off ten minutes of footage taken from Final Fantasy Type-0, allowing fans to get a glimpse of the game mechanics and the story telling.

The name Opening is a sign that this is how the game starts off but Square Enix is also saying that this is a special edit, which probably means that there are some bits that are glossed over in order to give a more cinematic presentation.

The game was initially named Final Fantasy Agito XIII and is linked to the Fabula Nova Crystallis game series.

The game is set to be launched on October 27 for the PlayStation Portable handheld from Sony and Square Enix has not yet detailed release dates for the North American or European markets.

The game will be more action oriented than its Final Fantasy XIII cousin and players will be able to experience a story which weaves war, faith and unique abilities.
