In case you were curious how Sleeping Dogs plays on the PlayStation 4, someone was nice enough to shoot an off-screen gameplay video at EGX 2014 in London and then upload it online for the whole world to see.

United Front Games’ Sleeping Dogs was a pretty big hit, and now it’s headed to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, in a spruced-up form dubbed Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition.

The action-adventure video game takes place in a fictionalized version of Hong Kong, and players step into the shoes of an undercover police officer working his way up the ranks of the Triads in an effort to control organized crime and expose its heads.

The open-world video game shares many similarities with Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto series, but also features enough unique content to carry its own weight. Fans praised the single-player campaign’s story, as well as the game’s martial arts combat system, similar to the one in Batman: Arkham Asylum.

The fact that the game also benefits from a star-studded voiceover cast, featuring performances by Tom Wilkinson, Emma Stone, Lucy Liu and many other talented actors, is another ace up its sleeve.

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition is expected to come out on October 10 in Europe and October 14 in North America, available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
