Civilization: Beyond Earth is the biggest turn-based strategy title to launch in the fall of this year and the team at Firaxis has been talking about a wide range of new features and interesting choices that gamers will be able to make.

The company has allowed some players to get early access to the experience and one of them has produced a pretty extensive one hundred turn look at the core features, using the American Reclamation Corporation.

Civilization: Beyond Earth aims to make each of its factions unique, with different focuses and clear ways for each to link itself to an Affinity and to a victory condition that seems easy to reach.

The turn-based strategy experience makes the early game really important, with decisions about ship size and loadout set to determine how the initial turns on the alien planet are played out.

The game will then evolve in the more familiar mechanics of the franchise, although the team at Firaxis says that all the main concepts have been slightly tweaked in order to make the entire experience interesting.

Civilization: Beyond Earth is set to arrive on the PC on October 24 of this year and those who place a pre-order will get six unique maps based on a range of exoplanets.
