Watch Dogs is set to debut later this spring and Ubisoft has confirmed that the stealth system works extremely well, as the team at Montreal has plenty of experience with creating such a thing.

Ubisoft surprised quite a lot of people when it first revealed Watch Dogs, as the new title allows players to take control of Aiden Pearce, a protagonist who can beat enemies using guns or hand-to-hand combat but also using his smarts, thanks to a complex hacking system.

Stealth, according to the Twitter of Animation Director Colin Graham, will also play a big role in the new game, allowing players to make things easier in tougher confrontations.

"Stealth is a player choice, you combine stealth movement and cover with hacking to make distractions and take out enemies," he said.

The game's stealth works really well thanks to Ubisoft's experience, according to Graham, and it does share some elements with other games.

"It works extremely well, we have had some experience with this at Ubisoft before. It’s a very advanced system. Some elements are similar to other games but I don't like to describe our game referential to another game."

You can expect to learn more about Watch Dogs soon enough, as we get closer to its release.
