Ubisoft has so far guarded the secret of the resolution and framerate of Watch Dogs on next-gen consoles, which is of some concern when considering the debate referring to the game’s downgraded visual fidelity level noticed since its reveal.

However, the pre-order page for Watch Dogs on the official PlayStation website has just revealed some interesting facts about the upcoming title.

The website boasts an impressive Watch Dogs experience, stating in clear terms that the game will run at 60 frames per second and at a 1080p resolution, a fact that has been never mentioned before.

The only mention of this is on the North American website, and none of the other regional websites, from the European to the Latin American and Japanese ones, have any similar information.

The equivalent page for the Xbox One version of Watch Dogs has no such information either, so for the time being there is no other official source to deny or confirm the specs, making it unclear whether the North American listing is a mistake or a legitimate reveal.

Watch Dogs is currently slated for a May 27 release, on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, with the Wii U version being delayed for later in the year, expected to drop sometime in Q4 2014.
