Watch Dogs creative director Jonathan Morin has confirmed that, while the framerate of the game on the PS4 is quite stable in this stage of development, the resolution details are still being finalized for both the PS4 and Xbox One.

Watch Dogs is one of the most anticipated all-new games set to debut this spring and Ubisoft has promoted the open world experience through quite a few ways before its debut on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Wii U.

Like with any multi-platform title that's going to arrive on both PS4 and Xbox One, rumors have started floating around the web about the technical performance on the new consoles, such as framerate or resolution.

Ubisoft Montreal's Jonathan Morin has confirmed on Twitter that he's been playing a build of the game on the PS4 and that, right now, the framerate is quite constant, although he declined to say if it's 30fps or 60fps.

The resolution, on the other hand, is still being finalized by the technical team, according to another tweet from Morin, so it's unclear how the title will perform on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Given that the game is an open world experience, you might expect a framerate of 30fps, but in terms of resolution it's anybody's game, although it could end up getting a reduced native resolution on Xbox One than on PS4.
