The team in charge of development for Watch Dogs announces that the game will be launched on May 27 of this year on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, current-gen consoles, and the PC.

The title also has a leaked new trailer that shows players the main elements of the gameplay and gives them a number of hints about the story of main character Aidan Pearce.

The footage features a gravely-voiced protagonist talking about his hacking skills and about the forbidden info he was able to see and how they destroyed his previous life.

AllGamesBeta has managed to get the trailer ahead of anyone else but there’s no new gameplay for those who have been following the development of Watch Dogs for a long time.

The game was first set to be one of the launch titles for the next generation of hardware from Sony and Microsoft, but Ubisoft announced that it was delaying it in order to make sure that it delivered the level of quality that players expected.

Watch Dogs will use an open world structure, and the team working on it says that it will offer a lot of interesting views on subjects like surveillance and hacking.
