Watch Dogs also needs powerful CPUs in order to prevent bottlenecks

Watch Dogs Creative Director Jonathan Morin confirmed that Watch Dogs won't even start on PCs with less than 6GB of RAM and that the game is quite dependent on the CPU rather than the GPU during actual gameplay.

Watch Dogs is set to debut next week and already quite a few leaks have appeared online with the PS4 version of the game.

After emphasizing the importance his team gave to dynamic gameplay instead of pretty visuals, Creative Director Jonathan Morin has now talked about the title's performance on PC via Twitter.

He first revealed, when asked by a user who had a computer with just 4GB of RAM, that the game should start and perform on low settings provided he had at least 6GB of RAM.

What's more, Morin said that the new game isn't that demanding in terms of graphics cards, as an Nvidia GTX 670 should be able to play it without any problems on Ultra settings. However, it needs a beefy processor so that it doesn’t encounter a bottleneck that takes the whole performance down.

Expect to hear more details about the performance of Watch Dogs on PC as we get closer to its release next week on May 27.
