14 DAY TRIAL // While attending this year’s Game Developers Conference (GDC), the folks over at Triumph Studios have shown a pre-alpha footage of their upcoming Age of Wonders III title.
The 6-minute video introduces a new Theocrat class and shows how powerful the high elf race can be. Although the gameplay footage shows some of the game’s features in its early stages of development, the graphics and the amount of spells is pretty impressive for a strategy game.
The final version of Age of Wonders III will feature two playable factions, the Commonwealth Empire and the Court of the High Elves.
Aside from the Theocrat class shown in the video, the game will allow players to employ heroes from other classes, such as Warlord, Rogue and Sorcerer. Age of Wonders III is expected to arrive on PC later this year.
