The development team at InXile says that it is nearly done with the beta for its upcoming Wasteland 2, which is set to be launched in the middle of December as long as nothing unexpected happens.

In an official update, Brian Fargo, the leader of the studio, explains that at the moment, the company is eliminating “blocker bugs and dial up messaging to make things clear. I'm really looking forward to the feedback of our beta backers. Thanks for all your patience.”

InXile is giving fans a look at a new complex of buildings that they will be able to visit in the post-apocalyptic party-based role-playing game.

It is described as heavy on atmosphere and designed to offer a very different type of gameplay than the outside area that players will have to cross to reach it.

Wasteland 2 has been funded via Kickstarter and is designed to update the mechanics of the classic for a modern audience.
