14 DAY TRIAL // Warren Spector, the creator of Epic Mickey and a developer of Deus Ex, and Paul Sams, the current chief operations officer at Blizzard, are working with the University of Texas at Austin to create a new video game education program that will launch in the fall of 2014.
The Denius – Sams Gaming Academy is designed to give students the skills they need to succeed in the Texas gaming industry, which is the second biggest in the United States.
Warren Spector will be the co-chair of the advisory board for the new program, while Sams will instruct students directly.
Spector states, “What differentiates the Denius-Sams Gaming Academy is that it will focus explicitly on the bigger creative leadership aspects of game development -on the management and production side and on the creative leadership side.”
