Developer Ino-Co Plus and publisher Paradox Interactive announce that they are working on a new turn-based title called Warlock 2: The Exiled, which will take gamers back to the world of Ardania for a deeper strategy experience.

The team says in the official announcement that gamers will be able to “wage constant war where every decision is crucial (warlocks don't do auto-resolving battles), and discover just who possesses the greatest balls of fire in a turn-based strategy game that offers no surrender or retreat.”

Gamers take on the role of a warlock for a variety of factions and will be able to use 150 new spells to control the territory and destroy enemies.

There are also hundreds of mythical and magical monsters that can be used in various tactical roles, with the selection ranging from dwarves to werewolves wearing hats.

The multiplayer mode for Warlock 2: The Exiled will include coop and versus modes.

The strategy game will be launched in the spring of 2014 on the PC.
