The development team at Fatshark is announcing that Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide will include a Dwarf Ranger character class, designed to offer a range of skills that can be adapted by gamers to the situations they face as they battle the Skaven.

Bardin Goreksson will favor hammers and axes in combat and he can use either single-handed versions with a shield to get some extra protection or dual-handed bigger weapons to deal with multiple enemies at once in Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide.

Fatshark adds, "The Dwarven Crossbow and Dwarven Handgun are accurate weapons, especially when carefully aiming the shots for maximum effect. On the other end of the scale, we find the Grudge-raker, a powerful close range area effect weapon."

The development team has also chosen to set the player viewpoint a head shorter than for other characters in order to reflect the unique perspective that the dwarf has on the world of the game.

The new Warhammer fantasy experience will allow gamers to choose from a variety of heroes who need to cooperate in order to stop the numerous and insidious Skaven.

Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide will be launched on the PC, the Xbox One, and the PlayStation 4.
