Developer Slitherine and license holder Games Workshop announce that they are working on a new strategy title set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, which will use the unique capabilities of the two companies.

The game, which currently lacks an official name, is linked to multiple platforms and it does not yet have a release window.

The only clear detail available at the moment is that the strategy game will be turn based and will probably involve all the major races of the Warhammer 40,000 universe.

JD McNeil, the chairman of the Slitherine Group, is quoted by VG247 as saying that, "This deal represents yet another testament to our continuous aim to reach new audiences, without losing sight of who we are and what we do best."

Core features for the new title will be revealed in the coming weeks.
