The development team at Digital Extremes announces that it has moved its upcoming Warframe video game to the closed beta stage, which means that players are slowly invited to actually play the game and see what it has to offer.

At the moment, the team is adding people from its VIP list to the close beta and advises all those who have signed up to be patient and wait to get access.

Other gamers can also sign up for the beta, but they are not guaranteed a spot.

Digital Extremes has also changed the look of the official Warframe website, which is now designed to give all those interested more information about the experience that the game offers.

Warframe is a free-to-play, third-person shooter which focuses on Player versus Environment action and allows players to customize their suits and then use them against a variety of enemies, while cooperating with their friends.

Warframe will be launched in 2013. More information on the game is expected soon.
