14 DAY TRIAL // The upcoming Riders of Rohan expansion for Lord of the Rings Online will introduce a new daily quest for player to tackle, linked to enemy Warbands and their incursions into the territory controlled by the player factions.
Jared Hall-Dugas, a developer also known as Amlug, states in the official blog post that, “A pack of Easterlings or a man and his Crebain pets, these long-ranging patrols will be throughout Rohan, ready to spoil your day or fill your bags with spoils. Gather friends or passing strangers and fight these beasts solo or together.”
The core concept that Turbine put behind their creation is that the battles should be fun and would allow both solo players and groups to tackle the Warbands.
All players who accept the quest to fight a Warband, which appears when they are close by, will get credit, experience and loot from them and the offered items will include: rare materials, housing items, shards, relics, potions, marks, medallions, jewelry mounted relics, second age symbols and exclusive War-steed appearances.
Riders of Rohan will be available on October 15.
