The guys from Gaijin Entertainment have announced that their next-gen MMO combat game entitled War Thunder is now celebrating two very important milestones.

Besides the fact that the game recently won Gamescom’s Best Simulation Game award, it is currently in development for Mac OS and Oculus Rift and will also be a PlayStation launch title.

It seems that game had quite a lot of success since its beta version received clearance for lift-off a year ago in Russia. Since that time, a number of more than 5,000,000 players have experienced the dangerous WWII planes.

In order to improve the game, the team behind War Thunder added, over the course of one year, around a hundred new planes, plus new interesting modes and improvements. During that period, the game managed to be released on Steam and went on to become the first Russian game for PlayStation 4 as well as next-gen consoles.

In order to celebrate, the developers have decided to give something back to fans “To those who have served, and to those who continue to step up to answer the call of duty in War Thunder – we salute you. It is in your honor that we at Gaijin Entertainment are offering every player Golden Battles on November 3rd and 10th as well as a limited edition decal for decorating your planes – do not miss your chance to get it and improve your balance as well,” said CEO of Gaijin Entertainment Anton Yudintsev.

Gamers can download the game for free from War Thunder's official website and fight to dominate the skies.
