14 DAY TRIAL // The Walking Dead series of episodic games from developer Telltale Games is set to get a full retail release on both the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and the PlayStation 3 from Sony in early December.
The package will include all the five episodes of the first season of the game, which is inspired by the comic book series of the same name.
The official Twitter account for the game offered confirmation when it stated, “Entire season on disc. Dec 4th in NA for Xbox 360 and PS3. EU dates TBA.”
It’s unclear why the company can confirm a console launch date for North America but cannot talk about one for Europe.
Telltale Games has two more Walking Dead episodes to launch, called Around Every Corner and No Time Left.
The developer has slightly delayed the second installment in the series and the early December launch date for the retail package means that the pace of releases needs to be slightly accelerated.
