The WWE Network announces that it is currently aiming to officially launch a streaming service for the Xbox One from Microsoft, the PlayStation 4 from Sony and current-gen consoles on February 24.

Initially, gamers will get access to all pay-per-view events and weekly shows and in time, the company plans to also add other content for fans.

The official Frequently Asked Questions document for the WWE Network states, “WWE Network will include all 12 WWE live pay-per-view events including WrestleMania 30, groundbreaking original series, reality shows and documentaries.”

Wrestling fans will also be able to watch classic fights and episodes in their uncensored form.

The PlayStation 4 will receive the WWE Network first and it seems that Xbox One users will have to wait until summer to get access to it.

Both Sony and Microsoft have pushed their new devices as entertainment hubs and need these kinds of apps in order to appeal to a broad range of customers.
