The PC version of the title fully supports mods

The PC edition of WWE 2K15 supports mods, so we should prepare for an avalanche of muppets, superheroes, and anything else modders will be able to cram into the game.

WWE 2K15 is the latest in the long-standing wrestling series, and it has just made its debut on PC, after a successful launch on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4 home consoles at the end of last year.

Things are bound to get weird for Yuke's wrestling video game, as 2K's Marcus Stephenson has confirmed via Twitter that it's just waiting to be modded.

WWE 2K15 already ships with a pretty powerful character editor, but being able to mod the game opens the door to an entirely new world of potential.

The bad thing about it is that many mods are likely to be taken down due to the WWE license the game uses, and creations that tread into legally unsafe waters might be hit with DMCA takedowns.

It's unlikely that 2K Games will actually provide some modding tools to the community or support modding in any other way, but it's still good to have an official go-ahead from the company.

People have already tried to crack the game open, reporting that it had no instance of anti-tampering protection. In any case, it's definitely going to be interesting to see what players will do with the game.
