14 DAY TRIAL // 2K Sports has announced earlier today that the Superstar gracing the cover of the upcoming installment in the long-standing WWE franchise, WWE 2K15, will be none other than John Cena.
John Cena is one of the most popular WWE athletes in the biz, is the current holder of the WWE World Heavyweight belt, and has held 15 championship titles over the course of his career.
The reveal that the infamous John Cena will be the one lending his image to the game's cover comes from the June 30 episode of Monday Night Raw, mirrored by 2K Sports' Twitter account, through which the company has shared the information together with an image of the cover art.
2K Sports mentioned during this year's edition of the E3 gaming expo that the development team working on WWE 2K15, Visual Concepts, would make use of the same scanning technology that conferred the NBA 2K series its photorealistic outlook, so expect a considerable upgrade in the visuals department from last year's game.
WWE 2K15 is currently scheduled to come out on October 28, 2014, for the PC, the Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles from Microsoft, and the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 computer entertainment systems from Sony.
