Thomas Was Alone creator Mike Bithell has released five new screens form his upcoming top-down stealth game Volume.

Not much is known about the upcoming title, but Bithell revealed that he drew inspiration from the Robin Hood legend, and set the events in the near future.

The creator informs that players will not be able to kill in Volume, instead their crimes will be committed through absolute stealth.

Players will have to use subterfuge in order to navigate the levels, sneaking, distracting and avoiding confrontation.

Bithell tells that the game will be released with hundreds of environments, and that every area of the game can be remixed and expanded, and the community will be free to evolve and grow the game once it's out.

The screenshots presented are all rendered in engine, but the creator warns that they might be misleading, since Volume will be a top-down game and they show a more isometric/third-person perspective.
