The Nintendo 3DS continues to be the best selling piece of hardware on the Japanese market for the week that ended on April 28, although the handheld has seen a big decline in sales, moving 55,433 devices to players.

The PlayStation Vita has seen an increase in its own number, to 21,399, while the PlayStation 3 has also improved over the previous week, despite the fact that it should enter a long-term decline after the announcement of the next-gen console from Sony, according to NeoGAF figures.

Friend Collection: New Life for the 3DS is the best-selling title for the week, with 144,903 copies delivered to fans, while a new release, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, the expansion from Capcom, took second place during its first week with sales of 125,363.

The rest of the top ten includes: Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Tomb Raider, Steins Gate: Senkei Kousoku no Phonogram, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, PhotoKano Kiss, Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon Portable, Naruto Shippuden: Narutimate Storm 3 and Bioshock Infinite.
