The developer will have to deal with scripting and combat spaces

Video game publisher Electronic Arts is ready to hire a senior producer who will work on the next-generation Star Wars video game that’s currently in development at the Visceral Games studio, best known for the work done on Dead Space.

The team wants to work with an experienced developer who can lead a project that’s currently in the concept phase.

The job announcement, spotted by Superannuation, says that the senior producer will “Help lead the game design on a next-gen HD Star Wars console title.”

Those who apply should have knowledge of scripting, core mechanics development and experience with laying out combat spaces.

Electronic Arts has confirmed that studios like Visceral, DICE and BioWare are working on Star Wars projects.

None of them were officially announced, but more information will be offered during E3 2013.
