Infinity Ward either reused a scene or built an homage in its new game

Video evidence showing that Call of Duty: Ghosts blatantly recycles a cut scene from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has just appeared online.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is the next installment in the prestigious first-person shooter series, and developer Infinity Ward has taken great pride in the all-new story, which has no connection to the one from the Modern Warfare series.

YouTube user Tzar, however, has managed to find one connection between the two games: a cut scene that's apparently been recycled (or copy and pasted, according to the user) from Modern Warfare 2.

More specifically, as you can see in the comparison video above, the end scene from Modern Warfare 2 is present right at the beginning of Ghosts' single-player story campaign.

While some elements were modified, the characters and camera move in the same way.

What do you think? Is this just a lazy effort from Infinity Ward or is it an homage to the pretty impressive ending from Modern Warfare 2?
