Terry Cavanagh, the creator of VVVVVV, says that, in 2014, he wants to see his title launch on the PlayStation Vita handheld and on the Ouya home console.

Polygon quotes the developer as saying that, “This year, I’m going to release VVVVVV on PS Vita, on iPad, on iPhone, on Android, on Ouya. And, if I can manage it, all at the same time. This will very likely be the last thing I ever do with VVVVVV, and I wanna go out with a bang.”

Cavanagh says that porting the game has made solid progress in the final weeks of 2013 and that he might be ready to offer more details on the new platform in the second part of January.

The indie game maker is also working on new titles for 2014 and he also has two passion projects that are shelved for lack of time at the moment.
