Quite a few players who went through the first episode of Telltale Games' Game of Thrones adventure series are criticizing the title for its meaningless choices that don't really affect the outcome of the experience.

Telltale Games has gotten players used to some really intense adventure titles in recent years, delivering not one but two seasons based on The Walking Dead, not to mention the really impressive Wolf Among Us.

After rolling out the first chapter in Tales from the Borderlands, the studio presented Game of Thrones Episode 1: Iron from Ice across PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One at the beginning of the week.

While the game was met with positive impressions, quite a lot of people are complaining on the Steam forums about the choices offered to players and how they don't affect the ending of the first chapter.

More specifically, while vastly different courses of action are presented to players, the conclusion is still the same and plenty of people are understandably upset, as the illusion was that they could do something to rectify the finale.

As of yet, Telltale hasn't commented on the complains, and given its track record, don't expect any statement from the studio concerning the backlash from fans.
