A new set of leaked details about the next Assassin's Creed game, the so-called Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, confirms that players will be able to control a male or a female character, as the main protagonists include a brother and a sister named Jacob and Evie Frye.

The Assassin's Creed series has been around for quite some time, and ever since Assassin's Creed 2, Ubisoft has tasked its suite of global studios with releasing a new iteration every year.

After seeing a big leak in fall of last year, shortly after Assassin's Creed Unity and Rogue were launched, the next Assassin's Creed title is set to be revealed officially tomorrow, May 12.

After seeing a few teaser images from Ubisoft in the last few days, more and more rumors are surfacing online.

Fans already heard that the game might be called Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, and that it stars a protagonist called Jacob Frye in Victorian era London.

Now, Kotaku brings a fresh report corroborating two sources that confirm an interesting fact: the next Assassin's Creed allows players to control a male or female protagonist.

Apparently, besides Jacob Frye, players can pick to control his sister, Evie. Both play big roles in the story, which sees them infiltrate the criminal underworld. Check out a leaked bit of artwork with Evie above.
