Until Dark developer Shiro Games has released a new batch of screenshots, showing some of the landscapes its players will be able to explore.

The game, formerly known as Project Z, is going to be a multiplayer exploration game set in a vast world of mystery, where players will take on the role of adventurers and team up in order to fight perilous and exotic monsters, explore, build and survive.

The team teased “a world full of ancient secrets and looming dangers,” but not much has been shared about the actual gameplay until now.

The developer has previously only revealed concept art, but now three in-game alpha screenshots have been released, showing some of the environments players might expect to face.

Former NCSoft Europe COO Sebastien Vidal's new studio Shiro Games has another project in development, apart from Until Dark, an enhanced version of a Ludum Dare competition winner, Evoland HD.

Until Dark is currently scheduled to be released during the second quarter of 2014, for PC and tablets.
