14 DAY TRIAL // Epic Games is set to present its next-generation Unreal Engine 4 technology at E3 2012 next month, but the technology, according to game journalist Geoff Keighley, won’t work with the future Nintendo Wii U.
Unreal Engine 3 powers many games nowadays, so you can bet that many people want to see the newest technology from Epic Games, in the form of the Unreal Engine 4.
After checking out a few screenshots earlier this month, journalist Geoff Keighley confirmed that Epic would show off UE 4 to the public at E3 2012 and that the first real demo of the tech would be aired during a special show on Spike TV.
Keighley also confirmed via Twitter that the Unreal Engine 4 wouldn’t be ported to the Nintendo Wii U, as Epic would only adapt the UE3 graphics tech for the upcoming home console.
Expect to hear more about Unreal Engine 4 and see it in action at the beginning of next month, during E3 2012 in Los Angeles.
