Nvidia has just revealed its new mobile Kepler chip design, codenamed Project Logan, and has revealed that Epic Games' Unreal Engine 4 can run without any sort of problem on the new hardware just like on powerful graphics cards for the PC.

Nvidia is banking big on its mobile development side and, with each iteration of the Tegra technology, it's pushed the capabilities of smartphones, tablets, and even standalone devices like the Shield, to new heights.

Now, with the new mobile Project Logan Kepler, the company has decided to demonstrate the small chip with Epic Games' Unreal Engine 4 next-gen technology.

In a special guest post on the Nvidia blog, Epic's Tim Sweeney highlighted that, by supporting technologies like OpenGL or DirectX 11 with the mobile Kepler, practically no porting is required to make an Unreal Engine 4 game work on the mobile chip even if it was made for desktop PCs or next-gen consoles.
