Fans can already modify certain files and objects

Dragon Age: Inquisition mod tools are already coming out from members of the community despite no efforts from BioWare to support such efforts, proving once again that PC users can certainly rise up to a challenge.

Dragon Age: Inquisition launched last month across the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms. The sprawling role-playing experience uses a brand new engine, in the form of Frostbite 3, which is already employed by the likes of Battlefield 4 and other titles published by Electronic Arts.

Unfortunately for members of the community, BioWare didn't talk about support for mods in the game, so it seemed that once again players would have to stick to the basic RPG experience.

Fortunately, it seems that a few enterprising fans have started tinkering with the game and have already developed a set of tools that can be used to modify certain files for objects from the game.

While the whole project is still in its early stage, others are invited to contribute both on the official forums and on the ME3Explorer website. Brief tutorials to help people use the tools are included and you can expect to see more things out of the modding scene for Inquisition in the upcoming months.

As of yet, BioWare isn't commenting on these new efforts and it's unclear if it will help or stop them in the future.
