Developer Wargaming.net has announced that the initial line-up of United States made and run aircraft has been added to the closed alpha stage of World of Warplanes, the multiplayer game that focuses on the flying circus of the World of War II period.

The initial American flying machines will include both a line of light fighters with an air superiority role and the aircraft based machines that are not available to other nations, like F4U Corsair, the F4F Wildcat, the P-51 Mustang and the F-86A Sabre.

Victor Kislyi, who is the Chief Executive Officer at Wargaming.net, stated, “We are proud to reveal the initial American tech tree. Throughout the course of WWII, the US planes proved to be extremely powerful and efficient machines, and we could not but include them into the primary stack of World of Warplanes nations.”

World of Warplanes is set to be launched during the first half of 2012.
