Ultra Street Fighter 4 is already out in Japanese arcades, but that doesn’t mean much for the rest of the world. As we wait for the updated version to reach us, we can always enjoy some exhibition footage from nimble players.

Capcom and Twitch partnered up at PAX East in order to hold some Ultra Street Fighter 4 demonstrative matches between Capcom’s Peter “Combofiend” Rosas, taking Poison into battle, and Twitch’s Vic the Slick, picking up Rolento and then M. Bison.

Ultra Street Fighter 4 producer Tomoaki Ayano mentioned that players who prefer characters such as Ryu, Akuma and Sakura will be able to make a very natural transition to playing Poison, due to her familiar move set.

Traditionally, fighters such as Ryu allow beginning players to get into the game faster, due to the ease with which their moves string together, with even the basic moves being damaging enough to secure victory. Poison also falls in this category, having a projectile attack, a forward momentum move as well as an anti-air ability.

The video ends with some footage from the upcoming fan-made live-action series Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist.

Ultra Street Fighter 4 is currently scheduled for release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in June, with the PC version coming along a bit later, sometime in August.
