Dominic Guay, a senior producer working at Ubisoft, says that Watch Dogs is designed as a next-gen experience first and foremost, but those who play the game on the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 will still get access to the full mechanics.

He states in an official blog post that, “So have no fear if you plan on playing Watch Dogs on the PS3 or 360. There are no trimmed-down mechanics to make you feel as though you are missing out on the core experience.”

Watch Dogs is an open world action experience that deals with themes like surveillance and espionage.

The extra power of the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 does allow Ubisoft to add another layer to Watch Dogs on those devices.

The game is out in late November on the PC and current-gen consoles and, soon after launch, on the next generation.
