Video game downloadable content tends to focus on multiplayer or on smaller stories set in the same universe but it seems that the team at Ubisoft working on Watch Dogs is more interested in offering fans more gameplay mechanics.

Dominic Guay, a producer, tells TotalXbox that, “it’s a rich city and we have a lot of ideas for fun things we could be doing in it that we don’t necessarily have in our scope right now, so we’ll be exploring different kinds of gameplay that we could also push within that gameworld following the release.”

The game will use open world mechanics and will allow players to use hacking in order to find targets and deliver justice.

Watch Dogs will be launched on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, the Wii U, the PC and current gen consoles during the second quarter of this year.
