14 DAY TRIAL // Gamers have until know only received information about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed III via interviews from the development team and through screenshots.
But video game publisher Ubisoft has now delivered the first gameplay trailer for the game, showing the main character moving around the game world, engaging with some wild animals and taking on the infamous Red Coats.
The gameplay is taken from an alpha version of the game, which means that players need to overlook small problems with the animation and the graphics.
The Assassin’s Creed III world looks really impressive and the familiar mechanics of the franchise seem to be well suited to the new wilderness setting.
The game will wrap up and the current story arc of the series and will introduce a new character, Connor, who is half Native American.
Assassin’s Creed III will be launched in late October and will be offered on the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360 and the PC.
