We’ve just reported on Ubisoft’s recent announcement on Watch Dogs’ delay and now details regarding The Crew racing game surface via another press release.

It appears that The Crew has been pushed back to 2014-2015 fiscal year, which means that fans of racing games should now expect Ubisoft’s triple A title to be released until at least March 31, 2014.

Ubisoft’s Co-Founder and CEO Yves Guillemot issued the following short statement: “our long term goal is to win the next generation. The tough decisions we are taking today to fully realize the major potential of our new creations have an impact on our short-term performance.

“We are convinced that, longer term, they will prove to be the right decisions both in terms of satisfaction for our fans and in terms of value creation for our shareholders. We are building franchises that will become perennial pillars of Ubisoft's financial performance.

“In a context of growing successes for mega-blockbusters, the additional time given to the development of our titles will allow them to fulfill their huge ambitions and thus offer players even more exceptional experiences.”

Following the delay of Watch Dogs and The Crew, Ubisoft revised its financial results and is now targeting sales of between €995 million and €1,045 million and non-IFRS operating loss of between €(70) million and €(40) million.
