Video game publisher Ubisoft believes that many gamers are eager to adopt the next generation of home consoles as long as both Sony and Microsoft give them the means to express themselves.

Yves Guillemot, the chief executive officer of Ubisoft, tells investors that “Customization, or curating, is a huge growth area across all services and that holds true for games. People want to play in their own way, they want to define their own experience and they want to share the way they're playing.”

Sony has already said that its PlayStation 4 was designed to give gamers easy access to content sharing, and that streaming would be an important element of the experience.

Microsoft is expected to announce a similar set of features for the Xbox 720 during its May 21 event.
