The team at SEGA in charge of the Typing of the Dead: Overkill concept announces the launch of a new downloadable content pack for the title, called Silver Screen Lexicon Pack, which is designed to allow gamers to use lines from well-known and Oscar-level movies to kill zombies.

The company explains on the official store page that “The Silver Screen Lexicon Pack replaces all the words and phrases in the game with some of the most memorable quotes from cinema history like ‘life finds a way’ and ‘Houston, we have a problem’ and will be available to download later today.”

Typing of the Dead: Overkill was a surprise hit for SEGA, designed around a simple gameplay mechanic that sees players simply typing words as fast as they can in order to fight undead hordes.

The publisher has said that it plans to deliver a string of lexicon packs for the title, based on its biggest video game properties and on other well-known media properties.

The Silver Screen DLC is delivered just as the Oscars have determined their winners for the year and it might become a hit with those who are looking for film-related content for their games.

The price is set at 2.99 dollars and 2.49 Euro.
