Cicatriz Entertainment has launched a crowdfunding campaign for their upcoming creation Troubadour, an interactive graphic novel that deals with growing up in the digital age.

The game will be an adventure that details the expectations and responsibilities of life in a world full of distractions. Players will guide Lu, the game's protagonist, witnessing as her perception of the world will be warped by digital toys, the experience set in glitch-filled aesthetic environment.

The indie studio wants to use the Kickstarter campaign in order to fund their exploration of how society no longer acts as a moderator between technology and human beings, and the consequences that ensue from this fact.

"We've been calling it an interactive graphic novel, but it is presented in what would be traditionally considered a video game format. We're building what we feel is a good balance between an interesting level of interactivity while also being accessible," its creators say.
